Hello Zay provides call answering and call summary services for service businesses across the United States. As part of this service, we send text messages to business owners so they never miss important customer calls. This page explains how you opt in to receive SMS messages from Hello Zay, what you can expect to receive, and how to opt out at any time.
How You Opt In
You can choose to receive text messages from Hello Zay in the following ways:
Online Account Sign-Up
When you create a Hello Zay account and provide your mobile phone number during registration, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages related to your account and service.
Service Activation Forms
When you activate Hello Zay for your business and enter a mobile number for call summaries or alerts, you are opting in to receive SMS messages to that number.
Manual Enrollment by Request
If you ask our team (by phone or email) to enable text message summaries or alerts for your account, we may manually enroll your mobile number into our SMS program.
By providing your mobile number and choosing these options, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the number and that you consent to receive SMS messages from Hello Zay.
What Types of Messages We Send
Hello Zay uses SMS only for business-related, non-promotional messages, including:
- Call summaries and call details from your Hello Zay number
- Missed call notifications and voicemail-style summaries
- Account or usage alerts (for example, high call volume notices)
- Important service updates or changes that may affect your account
- Billing or payment-related notifications (such as failed payments or upcoming renewals)
We do not use this program for random marketing blasts. Messages are directly tied to your Hello Zay service.
Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary based on your call volume and account activity. You may receive multiple messages per day when your business is busy. There is no fixed monthly limit, but we only send messages that are relevant to your Hello Zay service.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of Hello Zay SMS messages at any time.
Text STOP to +1 (833) 368-3762 to stop receiving messages from Hello Zay to that number.
- After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
- If you have multiple numbers enrolled, you may need to send STOP from each enrolled mobile number.
- You can also request removal by emailing us at askhellozay@gmail.com.
